Strategies for Structural Bodywork
It is common practice to observe clients as they come into our offices and treatment rooms, but could you be seeing more? Your client's structure tells you much more about where and how to work than their complaints. Learn the language of structure and hear the calls for more efficient function, and respond with effective treatment plans based on innovative structural strategies.
Structural Bodywork is most effective when done in a series of sessions. Therefore, this course is divided into three 12-hour sections to give the student a dynamic three-session protocol. Each section may be taken individually and in any order. Each 12-hour segment comprises four 3-hour sessions that meet three hours per week and includes Bodyreading, Anatomy review (including postural effect of muscles), Protocols and guidelines for forming individual treatment plans and Hands-on practice with practical applications.

Integrative Deep Tissue Work
Integrative Massage is the most artistic way to work. Three basic colors become a rainbow on the artist's palette. With only a dozen notes to draw from, musicians have brought to life innumerable scores of beautiful soundscapes. Many Massage Therapists use the term in their marketing and blend the tools they have to create a symphony of tactile sensation.
In this class, we will explore the bringing together of Myofascial Unwinding, Passive and Active Movement with Deep Tissue techniques to create one of the most relaxing and therapeutic bodywork experiences in the massage industry.

Intra-oral Myofascial Release
Are you aware of the many intricate fascial connections between the jaw and the neck? This is one possible reason why those who suffer with Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJD) frequently complain of headaches.
In this class, we will explore these connections and learn to accurately palpate and work related structures. This work is useful for TMJD, but it is also helpful for neck issues by getting to tissues that affect the neck and head which can not be accessed any other way.

Tai Chi For Bodyworkers More Than Body Mechanics
The burnout rate for massage therapists is high, largely due to body mechanics and energetic transference. If you ever have pain or discomfort in your neck, shoulders, arms, wrists, hands, or lower back during or after a session your body mechanics could be more efficient. Using Tai Chi as a basis for body machines your work will energize you rather then ware you out. A Tai Chi practice generates energy and assures that the energy of the session flows from the earth through you and into the client, giving the client an outstanding experience. This also protects you form unwanted energetic transfer.
In this class we will use the movements and principles of Tai Chi, Emerald Dragon, and other styles of Qi Gong to develop good body use habits and relate these habits to working at the table as well as give you tools to enhance both the quality and quantity or you own energy.
